Getting a USA drivers licence? - ontario drivers licence number generator
I am a Canadian citizen, but a lot of time in New York in search of my grandmother's illness. I wonder if I can change my Ontario driver's license for a New York one, since I for the most part here. I have no social security number.

You must have a Social Security number and either get the status of permanent resident or citizen to a U.S. driver's license. It is desirable that you hold your license in Canada because you are a Canadian citizen.

Yes you can, but you will need a Social Security number and a residence.
